Bon Qui Qui at King Burger - We Do it Youwr Way But Don't Get Crawzy!

I had a real experience in New York City this summer similar to this. A black woman was working at McDonalds and I asked for an ice cream cone. She said "WE HAVVVVE NO ICE CREAMMMMMM!" I thought that was crazy. Like what kind of McDonald's doesn't serve ice cream?, I thought. Apparently not this McDonalds. I then asked for a milkshake. She said, "What flava can I fix ya up?" It was just so funny. And this MAD TV video reminds me a lot of that experience.

Pizza Complete-za: A Hilarious YouTube Video

Watch this video it is hilarious!

I saw this video and could not stop laughing. It is a MAD TV skit on YouTube making fun of those Pizza Hut commercials - remember the Stuffed Crust pizza. Also, for those who have seen the video Taco Town, this is just as hilarious.

I GOT A JOB!

Life right now is pretty sweet. I just got a job at Utah Business magazine as their assistant editor. I don't officially start until December 22 because it's still my last semester at college, but things lately have felt like the real thing.

First of all, what used to be my internship pretty much changed into a full time job on 20 hours a week. "How can be this be?" --you may ask...Well, I just moved into my own office - with a door and everything. Yeah, this is no cubicle my friends. It is a real office, one even with an extra chair for someone to sit in for an interview or something.

I have also been uploading all the content (articles, videos, blogs, podcasts) for the Utah Business Website. I write a daily story, as well as publish 3 other stories about business news in the state of Utah and I also publish 3 more articles for our technology Website, Wasatch Digital iQ. I send out daily emails to all of the subscribers of the magazines containing links to the new stories for that day. I have also been writing articles for the print magazine as well as meeting with the editorial staff and the art director and graphic designer to help plan the print issue for each month.

So already the internship has completely changed and feels like the real shin dig. And plus, assistant editor is a nice title and a good start. I plan to bring a more technology focus to the magazines by producing more interactive content such as podcasts, videos, slideshows, and blogs. It is going to be a lot of fun and also work all at the same time.
